So I'm making a piece, and the horse stands out so starkly against the background. I've tried everything. It's a color problem for sure. Tried the saturation/contrast and multiple other things. Can't for the life of me get it to blend in. I use Photoshop, but WHATEVER thoughts you have is beyond appreciated.

You could try duplicating the BG and blur it and put it on soft light clipped to the horse. If you tried that/didn't work you could also play with a gradient map. If all else fails you could try switching out the BG/ horse for a different one to see if that helps. The other thing to check is to make sure that the lighting matches.
