Howdy guys. I made this greyscale and I'm very happy with how the greyscale itself turned out. However, whenever I add color to the greyscale, suddenly my highlights look like I took a white paintbrush and scribbled all over it! Any ideas on how to fix it or what I did wrong? I've tried burning the highlights a little, and then it just looked like I had no highlights at all. I also messed with opacity on the highlights layer as well as layer modes and couldn't find anything that made it look much better. I'm using photoshop CC 2015 Thanks in advance! Hey! I personally think the highlights look great! If you wanted to try something else, make a new layer and actually do scribble them with white. Then set the layer to overlay and play with the blurring and opacity. Edited at July 6, 2021 04:12 AM by Fair Jewel

I think the highlights look fine. That is exactly how a sheen on a short coated black dog looks
