I'm not entirely sure what's been happening, maybe it's because I haven't been able to do art in general as much, but I believe I'm experiencing a serious plateau. And I'm worried this is going to ruin my art and general love for my photo-manips. I love seeing my own progress I make, as I'm kind of weird and love learning new techniques and skills. Any tips to get out of this? Any thoughts on my recent progress with my pieces? I feel I've gotten a bit better with lighting in my pieces as well as my new hair "style".

Hi Tasi! I am by no means an expert or a professional artist, so I'm not sure how much advice I can give, but I would say this... The only way you will ever truly plateau is if you give up and don't push forward! I have those moments (or months lol) where I feel like my recent pieces are not improving and honestly aren't even as good as my previous pieces, but this is all part of the process! This process I speak of is so important and you just can't give up because everyone has to go through this! I feel like it's 2 steps up, 1 step back xD And when you aren't able to work on art much, like me, it seems like the "plateau" is never-ending, but keep chunking away at it! You will ultimately improve and people do notice! This is all part of the process that all professional artists go through to become some of the best! Feel free to PM me if you ever need any extra sets of eyes for anything! I'm happy to help!
