If an old movie or tv show is in the Public Domain, are we allowed to use a screenshot from the film for use in HEE art if it is also credited as such? (example: "The Killer Shrews in public domain")?? |

no. Even if it is old, it will be copyrighted and not free to use art or screenshots. |

I was referencing this among a few other things? It says once in the PD, copywrite has either expired or has been allowed to go into the PD. But what HEE says goes of course :-) |
