I've been on hiatus for a while, and I was considering doing some premade/YHH auctions. NO custom pieces, sorry. :/ However, I would like some opinions about price range since I have been out of the game (so to speak). Here is a piece I whipped up for a contest in about 3h. Thoughts? Click for details. ![](https://images-wixmp-ed30a86b8c4ca887773594c2.wixmp.com/f/b02e1d88-3f26-4aac-800a-2279cedb0b56/dfc6hho-2b4ea373-d999-4d1b-8a4e-129830771482.png/v1/fill/w_1024,h_576,q_80,strp/forest_glow_by_heeblackdiamond_dfc6hho-fullview.jpg?token=eyJ0eXAiOiJKV1QiLCJhbGciOiJIUzI1NiJ9.eyJzdWIiOiJ1cm46YXBwOjdlMGQxODg5ODIyNjQzNzNhNWYwZDQxNWVhMGQyNmUwIiwiaXNzIjoidXJuOmFwcDo3ZTBkMTg4OTgyMjY0MzczYTVmMGQ0MTVlYTBkMjZlMCIsIm9iaiI6W1t7ImhlaWdodCI6Ijw9NTc2IiwicGF0aCI6IlwvZlwvYjAyZTFkODgtM2YyNi00YWFjLTgwMGEtMjI3OWNlZGIwYjU2XC9kZmM2aGhvLTJiNGVhMzczLWQ5OTktNGQxYi04YTRlLTEyOTgzMDc3MTQ4Mi5wbmciLCJ3aWR0aCI6Ijw9MTAyNCJ9XV0sImF1ZCI6WyJ1cm46c2VydmljZTppbWFnZS5vcGVyYXRpb25zIl19.cwWeF-hSWiJHSoOZsMz59NzsrS888lihrgi0dg-hCCk) Edit: I am aware that I need some more practice with hair, but I hope to improve my technique in the coming months. Honestly the composition of this piece is gorgeous. I personally think the hair looks great if you're going for a super realistic feel. It doesn't look too smudged or blurry. You did a great job. My personal critique for this particular piece would be to outline your horse with a small round brush or a light pen if you have one with a light color from the background, maybe make that eye a little brighter to give the horse more life, and use that same brush to define the horse's natural muscle shapes (smudge the lines as much as you prefer) As far as pricing I definitely think you should be in T1. Depending on how you feel about patterns and such (like with complicated or detailed orders) I think 150k-175k would be good to start off with. But this is just one person's opinion :) Edited at October 5, 2022 07:33 PM by Calico Acres
