I use Photoshop. I can't figure out how to reduce a large image an keep the quality...such as a butterfly. I've tried image reduction... everything I can think of. I'm missing something probably obvious, but any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

I'll try help but my peices when sized down aren't exactly amazing quality and don't look the same as before but i do my peices at 1000 x 1000 and then resize to 500 x 500, i play around with sharpening and usually redraw the eyes/ hair, for example this peice when sized down came to this quality, i use image resizer.com and take it back to my art program to pretty it up a bit, then i use imagecompressor.com (Optmizilla) to compress it to a useable size, i like them because you can choose the smallest ammount of compression which is usually 98% for me That image became this one Click After resizing and compression :) I hope i help even a bit <3 i should note that i don't use photoshop so some of these features might be on photoshop already but these are just online, free ways to do it if there isn't Edited at October 18, 2022 07:49 AM by Everglade Equestrian

Just read it right and i'll comment again xD I try to use stock that is a simular size to the canvas i'm using, but if not try prepping the image on a bigger canvas and when reducing it try to sharpen the image carefully so it doesn't look off and keeps its quality?
