I have just recently found my style; but I am always looking to improve, so tear these pieces apart (: - Lighting and grounding are the toughest for me, so if anyone has tips on how to do that please share! - To avoid posting a bunch of pictures, here's My Gallery and my most recent piece (: This thing is HUGE with lots of details so please click and zoom. This is my favorite piece to date, it was orignally a buckskin. Tear it apart <3 Thank you!

This is beautiful!! Love the coat and you seemlesly edited the color, the mane looks nice and soft too. The only critique I would have would be to think about the light source. I think the shadow should probably be angled a different way to match the background (look at the boulder by his front hooves for reference) and the legs should probably be mostly in shadow, which would make all the beautiful work you did on the face/shoulders really pop to the viewer's attention. Also maybe one transparent layer over the whole thing with a warm hue to make the horse feel "one" with the background But looks great! This is all nit-picky, it's a great piece!

Thank you very much! I originally did have black on the legs, but the buyer asked me to remove it (: A translucent layer with a warm hue is a wonderful idea!

This is beautiful. I really like it. I love how the sun kinda compliments the color of the horse.
