Hello! I'm on a hunt for a tablet to do manips with. I use GIMP and I've played around but it's so hard to do anything fiddly with a computer and no stylus capability. I'd like something under $50, just something for me to screw around with that won't immediately break. I'm not expecting anything that price range to be out of this world but any recommendations are great! I've been looking at WACOM, are those decent? Thanks!! 100% would recommend a small Wacom Intuos. They're really great for starting out but are still super high quality. I died mine for years and never had a complaint about it. Best Buy has a deal on them really often but you can find them a bunch of places for under $50. And Wacom has great customer support if you have any issues. Also it's really great to see you back Dimmy! Edited at February 20, 2024 08:40 PM by Underland

I use a Wacom Intuos, cost me about 60$ on amazon and works really well! I love the mappable buttons on the pen, +4 on the tablet itself. It's screenless and just plugs into my laptop, and I use it all the time in place of a mouse xD Overall, I really like it, it feels nice and is super thin, and easy to transport. The pen doesn't have a battery, so I never have to worry about charging it :D

Others here have mentioned, but I will also go ahead and suggest the Wacom Intuos. I personally have the small and have had it for several years. You can currently get it on Amazon for $39.95, here in the US! I am going to be upgraded at the end of this week to another product in the Wacom line because I want a screen to be able to draw on instead HOWEVER sticking with Wacom still specifcally because I have nothing but great experience with them. Even replaceable nibs for the pen can be ordered, just from Amazon and are super cheap for a good amount of them. They also hardly ever need to be replaced to begin with.
