Hello lovely people. For the sake of this topic, we will say "SHE". I am not actually sure on the gender. A beautiful cockatiel showed up at our property today and is very friendly (definitely not wild). Not friendly enough that she would fly down onto us but we could get right up close with our hands. Anyway, long story short - we caught her and have a cage for the night (inside). We are currently looking for a big cage! My question is... I have googled but would prefer direct advice c: 1. What can we feed her? 1a: What quantity of seeds? I did read sunflower seed, sufflower(?) seeds, hemp(?) seeds 2. What veggies are safe to pop in the cage with her? 2a. 1a: What quantity of the veggies you suggest? Any other advice? Please only comment if you own this specific breed or are a vet etc and are extremely knowledgeable. I want to do the best I can <3 Thank you so much!!!!

If your going to keep her , you would idealy like to feed pellets and fruits and veggies and use seeds as a treat only.

Also i forgot to add it to my first post , is to leave her alone for the next couple of days just to let her settle in. just until she's calmed down and familiar with her new enviroment and then you can start to try to handle her. if you have a reddit acount , there is a subreddit just for cockatiels if you wanted more advice then here
