My favorite build will always be the huge Disney style castle that I built entirely out of quartz and amethyst. Same. I'm not sure why he made our world bedrock lol. But from the sound of it bedrock has better mechanics in alot of things.
For one aparently you have to recharge up when using a sword or anything to fight a mob in java O-o
