Classes & Ribbons

The Pretty Pony Pageant shows run on a rotation of classes. With 36 Realistic Classes and 33 Fun Themed Community Vote Classes - there's always something new and interesting to get dressed up for!

Following the overall theme of HEE - one of the three Eventing Disciplines will always be in the PPP Show (Dressage, Cross Country, Show Jumping). Occasionally there will be a special Eventing Class which has one horse displaying gear for all the phases.

For a class to be eligible to run in the PPP shows - it must utilize a tack or decor item from the HEE game. The exception to this would be the Tackless class that doesn't have gear requirements.
At this time there are limited Western classes due to no western style tack. The PPP has been looking into customized art that can be overlaid on the HEE model to open up more disciplines and stylized classes. If you would like to help the PPP reach this goal - please contact Boulder Creek (289810)

There are 6 Color Restricted classes and 6 Breed Restricted classes which run on alternating shows. These classes have special requirements for specific coat colorations or specific breeds.

The Realistic Classes are judged by the Judges Panel made up of official PPP Judges. Between 3 and 5 realistic classes are run in each show. Judging is subjective to each judges opinions and preferences which is why there is a rotating and randomized panel of 3 to 5 judges for each show.

PPP Judges

The Pretty Pony Pageant Judges make every PPP Show special!

Through a randomized rotating schedule, a Judges Panel is selected from the list of Official PPP Judges and they place each of the Realistic Classes! Each Judges Panel is made up of three to five individual stables who have different preferences and judging styles. The scores from each judge is then averaged together to find out how the classes place overall!

This system follows the PPP key value of Integrity:
- Fair Playing - Fair Judging - Fair Winning -

Some entries stand out to the judges and they receive special recognition.

Find out what really WOWs the PPP Judges through the Judges Clinic available only for members of the PPP Club! Get the insights on how each judge placed a specific class and what they like to see in the entries.

Did you know that if you're on the current Judges Panel - you cannot enter the Realistic Classes? This is because it wouldn't be fair to judge your own entries against others. Just like the real horse show world, judges are not allowed to be associated with the competitors. The PPP Judges are held to a high standard to keep this contest fair for everyone involved. In case you were wondering, the Show Runner (Boulder Creek) never votes on any of the classes.

The Community Vote Classes - those super fun dress-up classes are not judged by the Judges Panel, this is because they are voted on by all of the HEE Community! Anyone and everyone is welcome to sign-up and enter these classes and then vote for their favorites! Using the Polls section of the Forums allows for anyone on HEE to vote on the classes. If you're on the current Judges Panel - you can enter the Community Vote Classes and try your hand at winning fabulous prizes!

Dark-Judge-s-Plaque.png

The Pretty Pony Pageant wouldn't be possible without the dedicated Judges who volunteer their time to place the shows. Take a moment to thank your Judges Panel - they work hard!

There are 23 Official PPP Judges!
- Thank you for your dedication and support of the PPP!

A shout-out to those who have Guest Judged with the PPP - thank you for volunteering! Occasionally when there aren't enough Judge's Scorecards submitted, a call will go out to the PPP Club for those who are able (and didn't enter any of the Realistic Classes) to help fill out a Scorecard and place the classes.

Do you have what it takes to be an Official PPP Judge?
Message Boulder Creek (289810) to get started!

Welcome to the first Pretty Pony Pageant!

This week's class list:
Realistic classes
Cross Country
Turn Out
Trail Ride
Theme Class
Autumn Ride

The Cross Country, Turn Out, and Trail Ride classes will be judged by an anonymous judges panel!
(remember, if you are chosen for this week's panel - you cannot enter a horse in these classes)

Cross Country
Must include at least one (1) tack item relating to Cross Country riding. May use as many items and/or decor as you want
You may be as creative as you want with how you use items
We suggest using a background that goes with Cross Country Riding

Turn Out
Must include at least one (1) item relating to Turn Out.
You do not have to include a tack item if you would not turn your horse out with a halter, blanket, or other equipment - BUT you must use a decor item.
We suggest using a background that goes with Turn Out (Pasture, Paddock, Arena, etc.)

Trail Ride
Must include at least one (1) item relating to Trail Riding. May use as many items and/or decor as you want.
You may be as creative as you want with how you use items
We suggest using a background that goes with Trail Riding

• It is highly encouraged to be creative and think outside the box - you don't have to use traditional tack always, as long as it can be reasoned, it will be accepted.

• It is not required to be extravagant - if you only have an item or two, go for it! Show off your pretty pony!

The Theme Class for this week is Autumn Ride!
Everyone is welcome to join (even those on the judging panel!) as this class will be set for Public Vote!

Autumn Ride
Must include at least one (1) tack item relating to riding. May use as many items and/or decor as you want - get creative with the prompt!
We suggest using a background that goes with Autumn Ride.

Entries are open!

Now (Thursday,September 24) until Sunday, September 27, at 11:59 PM GT

Submissions:
Please send entries to Boulder Creek
With Pretty Pony Pageant Entry in the Subject Line
State the class that you wish to enter
Include the link to the tacked pony or a screenshot of the tacked pony
(multiple entries in one message are allowed and encouraged if submitting multiples)
- Remember - Only one horse per class per stable
You may enter up to four horses in this week's show

Do Not Post entries on this page or otherwise say which horse(s) you submitted. We are striving for anonymity for fair judging!
You may post that you entered and share this contest with others who might also enjoy entering.

Entries to the realistic classes will be posted after the judges have voted so the public may enjoy the submissions!
Entries for the theme class will be posted after entries close for the HEE community to vote on! A link will be provided here when that happens.

If you need help or have questions - please contact Boulder Creek or TenaciTea
