So a few months ago, I bit the bullet (with encouragement from Jello and Gala) to put down a deposit on my first well bred show prospect - a male Rottweiler puppy from the incredible Merakxel kennels in Arizona. I will ideally be titling him in conformation first and foremost, but my plans include titling him in bitesports and maybe obedience if I can find the time and the extra fuck ton of money that will take lol. (On top of the necessary health tests too) Litter is supposed to hit the ground next summer and I am counting down the days. If no males are born in the litter, I will end up waiting another year, but fingers crossed there's a suitable boy born! He also just competed with his dog Aero on America's Next Top Dog, which aired Saturday. |
