There was the first patterned Lipizzan colt born at our state stud Piber this year. Little Neapolitano Fama will probably grey out but he is a sensation here. There has not been a patterned foal for over hundred years methinks:

Lipizzaners came in all colors and pattern over 200 years ago.

Then the greys started to take over - due to their use as "king´s horses". But in the studbook it still says "open for all colors"
