I say black, but if you can't get black, navy blue. Try and just get a solid colour.

Nothing neon lol. Red always looks good and also goes well under a hacking jacket. I've bought ones from eBay but they never fit right and Chinese sizing is tiny. There is a business called NSV equine attire they make made to fit waistcoats.
