Over the last year, I have moved onto a 20+ acre farm and started my own business with my boyfriend. We've added three horses to the family (soon to be 4 as Vanzi is due at the end of this month/early next). Enjoy the pics and the stories :D Sparkle Skip Vanzi ("Vanzi") - 11 year old Gold Champagne Dun AQHA mare. She is the sweetest horse ever and my unicorn. This is my dream mare and she was 100% worth the wait. She is pregnant by Blue Isle Blackburn and due late June/early July. (More pics to come) Dauntless JE ("Dauntless") - 4 year old Dark Bay Arabian Stallion. He is every bit what an arabian stallion should be. He is spirited and funny and incredibly sensible. I love this boy so much and he takes my breath away every time I look at him. He is the king of the farm. "Crixus" - 3 year old Bay soon to be registered AQHA Stallion. This guy is our resident trouble maker and we've only had him a few weeks. He had a bit of a rougher start in life, but now that he's with me, he is quickly proving to be an incredibly smart and well-tempered prospect. Crixus has the pedigree of an outstanding cutting horse, but we're developing him slowly and seeing what he likes to do. He was injured as a yearling but the resulting knot does not bother him at all thus far and will be addressed in the future if it does. |
