So, I have been looking for a new project pony and I found this... Needless to say Im hesitant. The horse can do all that, and hes 3? Im also fairly certain Ive seen a very similar horse at horse shows 4 years ago. Could be his sire or dam? They could be lying? Honestly I dunno what to think here. It just seems really fishy to me. Too good to be true lol. I have contacted them for more info as well.

He definitely looks like a 3 year old to me. He's butt high, and not really incredibly broke. Looks like a nice little pony

Looks like a well-started baby to me. :) My trainer starts her babies around 2 YO for the futurity. Within a few months, they can do all that, understand the idea of working a flag, follow a cow, stop well, etc. Personally, I wouldn't be jumping too much at that age but it may have just been for the video.
While he looks well-started, you have to also keep in mind and be realistic that he's still fairly young and has a lot to still be exposed to and definitely needs LOTS more miles.

Totally agree, I'm just shocked because... well I've never seen a 3 year old this broke. Most of them (in my area) go for 2k or less, with hardly any ground work done. He seems perfect!! If only I could afford him... XD Edited at September 9, 2020 09:35 AM by Cassa Belle

I had a 2 yr old pony mare I had going better than this just a couple months ago. It just depends on the horses development and the amount of time the trainer puts into them!

Welshes and QHs are also known for being very very smart, levelheaded, and trainable. What he can do doesn't surprise me a lot, though I would be concerned about his joints later on down the road.
