Bays are always best in hot pink. I hate the color but it's so pretty on them. Fleabitten grays are good in Navy or Hunter Green.

Bays and blacks both look good in bright red. The darker the bay the better a bright color looks on them. In contrast I feel that a lighter bay looks better in a darker color

I own a liver chestnut (looks bay at times) and he looks amazing in navy and hunter green. Red is one I tend to stay away from for him. Blacks/White - like true fashion, black and white horses can go in any color. Personally, for black horses, I like lilac, yellow, and lighter greens like sage. Bays - Purple, Red, Blue, Pink, Light Blues Chestnuts - I'd stay away from oranges, reds, and certain shades of pink (rose might be okay depending on the shade of the horse). Again navy and hunter greens really pop. perlino and cremello - subtle light colors look great...rose, peach, sage/mint, lilac, light blue, etc. Navy, maroon, and hunter are also good contrasting colors too while not popping too much.
