I picked up a foal for my mom. She is a Overo filly almost 10months old we were told she was a palomino but there is no way she could be. I got to see the sire who is a bay Overo and her mom is a light palomino Overo.
I'm on my phone so once I get to my computer I'll add a couple pictures.
She is creme in color with a creme and black mane and a creme tail, she also has black points on her ears. So I'm thinking Dun or Buckskin. She also looks to be getting a sooty color to her coat on her shoulder area and on her rump.

Sire: TLP Unbridled Dream Dam: Frosted Fanny (Found some info on her dam + 2 half siblings on https://greenvalleyranch.weebly.com/ Fanny did not look that pretty when I saw her, it was hard to tell where any of her white was. she had winter fuzzies and looked more like a grey) https://greenvalleyranch.weebly.com/uploads/1/3/8/3/13836781/3145555.jpg?396
Foals: They sent me a picture of her 2016 (I think might have been 2015)colt but was not sure if I could post his picture) 2012 - https://greenvalleyranch.weebly.com/uploads/1/3/8/3/13836781/5669444.jpg?425 https://greenvalleyranch.weebly.com/uploads/1/3/8/3/13836781/2737216.jpg?422 2013 - https://greenvalleyranch.weebly.com/uploads/1/3/8/3/13836781/408889746.jpg?370

Does she have a dorsal stripe?
Dad doesnt look like he has Dun, so unless mom is secretly a dunalino, your little one isnt a Dun. Pics will go a long way :)
It is definitely possible that she is just a very sooty Palomino. Edited at February 21, 2018 07:01 PM by Bristol Farms

Best thing to do is get her tested. But id say sooty palomino or Buckskin and probably will be better known when you show pictures

How do you get a horse tested?
Her mom is a Palomino Sabino Overo, at least that is what they say could not tell what her color really was, she was out in pasture with a blanket and a long winter coat and she looked grey to me :)

Gorgeous little filly. I would definitely say she is a sooty Palomino.

Yup. Looks like a palomino to me. You might try washing her mane and tail (when weather allows) and see if the black is just stains/dirt. She is beautiful! <3

Yeah she Palomino but the looks of it. If she got the E/At gene from dad and dilute from mom she'd be buckskin but no black mane and tail. Looks palomino....3 palominos I know were born bright chestnut and the foal coat shed to palomino.
There's a university who gene tests. I can't remember where. We've had a lot of our KNNs and appys done. Just pull a few mane hairs (making sure you have the base of the hair) and send it off.
