Everybody has different ways of naming their horses. What's your method?

This, Twilight, and wahtever sounds good like 'Golden Dancer'

Combination of sometimes parents names, sometimes breeders names, but mostly just whatever two words come to mind first lol

I usually go based on greek gods/goddess, but if I can't find something that suits them well enough I just throw on a random name.

Typically parents names but I like to do song lyrics or titles

Whatever sounds cool. "Runefaust" isn't even a word lol. "Resonance" came from a game... Again, just words I come across or come up with that are fun.

Mix of parent names & random names.

Im going to say based on the parents but I don't have a set way or theme of naming my foals. 9/10 I can come up with a combo from the parents or maybe mine and someone from the visible - some people don't name their horses so nothing to go off of. On occasions like that, I might even combine from the visible pedigree only, ignoring the parents. With Wilds I try to come up with something random. things I don't see, something catchy, but also something that can easily be combined with other things. If I was lazy and didn't name foals until the end of the season I might pop on some music and us song titles, band names, and/or lyrics to name them. If I've read or watched something good lately then book titles, characters, one liners, etc. are also on the table. One the extremely rare occasion that none of the above applies, I have a random name generator site that I go to with a TON of themes to choose from and look through few of those until something feels right.

I do all of the above depending on the horse and how I'm feeling!
