So I have this plan, but wanted to run it by a couple of people who use/save embryos a lot. xD

If I was to halt breeding and just pull embryos from my mares and use them in the future will that ruin my horses? I only have 3 breeding mares and I am trying to increase my gelds/save. But I don't want to ruin my girls lol.

Half of the time I just pull embryos from my girls to save, so it is definitely not bad. My ABLB girl still holds onto the board even if she isn't actively bred every month |
