No powerplaying- your animal has strengths and weaknesses.

Out of character drama is not accepted; if you have an issue, don't clutter the discussion.

Max 3 characters per person- you may not have 3 of one species. Even it out.

In your sign up sheets please have at least a 5 sentence paragraph in your appearance and personality, or 10+ bullet points. We want to know about your character, so no 2 sentence things.

Read everything that has to do with your character- it is there for a reason!

Ages have to range in between 15 and 18.

Information:

The Corazon Roto Academy is a specialized Academy for all of the mythical- yet not so much- horses of the animal kingdom.

Kelpie- The Kelpie is a horse that dwells in bodies of water- lakes, rivers, and streams. They are usually black or white, but can be a wide range of colors. They have the ability to breathe underwater and create whirlpools. They can also control water.

Pegasus- The Pegasus is a well known creature, with a horse-like body that includes feathered wings. They therefore have the ability of flight, but they can also control the weather. They are usually pictured as white horses, but they can be a wide range of lighter colors. Never black.

Unicorn- Probably the most well known animal, the Unicorn is a horse with a spiraling horn on its forehead. It is portrayed as white, lighter grey, and light palomino. It has moderate Telekenesis powers with its horn.

Hippogriff- The Hippogriff is a mixture of two animals, with an eagle head and front legs, feathered wings, and a horse hindquarters and tail. It is very powerful and strong, and can be portrayed as any color. They have the ability to read minds and communicate with their rider.

All animals are portrayed as adults. You may bring your own, but you also can use the Academy's animals if you do not posess your own animal.

Animals

CCB Fiery Lava "Lava" - Lava is a male Hippogriff. He has dark brown feathers with gold highlights and amber eyes. He is 5 years old and very hot-headed, needing a strong, calm owner.

NCH Pearly Gem "Gem" - Gem is a female Unicorn. She is pure white with pink highlights in her mane and tail, and her horn is light, sunset pink. She has pretty pink eyes and a calm expression. She is 7 years old and is known for being calm and taking care of her owners. Any beginner would be great on her.

JH Otter Tail "Otter" - Otter is a light brown Kelpie with black streaks throughout his pelt. He has light green eyes and green tints throughout his mane and tail. He is 3 years old with a bouncy, happy personality, although he can be quite a handful. He would require a rather experienced rider.

TF King's Orders "King" - King is a white Pegasus with golden hints throughout his mane and tail and golden flight feathers. He is 15 years old and rather grumpy at times. He doesn't like other horses but he is experienced and steady. he'd be good for any level of riders.

ATL Night Phantom "Phantom" - Phantom is a male Hippogriff with dark grey fur/feathers and lighter grey streaks. He has light blue eyes and a calm expression. He is 8 years old and rather quiet, although quite experienced as well. He'd be okay for any level of rider.

SSS Hot Apple Cider "Cider" - Cider is a palomino unicorn with a pretty white mane and tail. She is 4 years old and rather bouncy and happy, always glad to see her owners and meet new people. She can be a bit much, but almost any level of rider would be fine on her.

HG Sea Clown "Clown" - Clown is a seal brown Kelpie with black stripes racing everywhere throughout her pelt. She has dark green eyes. She is 6 years old, very experienced, and quite the jokester- if the rider can put up with her antics, she is the perfect horse.

KJ Dingo Jaguar "DJ" - DJ is a 3 year old Peagsus with a light grey pelt and darker dapples. He is young, inexperienced, and very bouncy, spooky, and shifty, although he loves people and would never try to hurt him. A more experienced rider would be needed for him.

HYT Maple Path "Maple" - Maple is a 10 year old Hippogriff with russet red feathers and darker red streaks. She is stocky and thick with a long mane and forelock that cover her eyes and hang past her thick neck. She is very steady, calm, collected, and experienced, great for any rider.

Plot

The Corazon Roto Academy is a hard place to get into, for a good reason. Instead of normal horses they sport mythical creatures. They only accept the best, and the best is what they get. Founded in 1913, the old manor sits upon the rolling hills and beautiful forests of southern Minnesota. Throughout the year they train kids to be the best with their creatures. In the summer the temperature ranges from 70 degrees to 90 degrees F, and in the winter it ranges from 0 degrees to 35 degrees F.

Trainers

Hiring only the best, here are the top notch trainers for the Academy.

Dressage- Tom Butcher and Mary Butcher, a married couple of around 50 years old. They have experience working with all horse species in Dressage. They are rather strict, but helpful.

Show Jumping- Lillianna McConnor, an unmarried woman of 26 years old, teaches the Show Jumping classes. Rather experienced, having started at 3 years old, she is kind yet strong.

Cross Country- Lorenzo Shoultz, an unmarried 34 year old man, teaching the X Country. Also experienced, he is calm and quiet.

Barrel Racing- Lauren Macaligo and Johnny Macaligo, two amazing teachers of around 30 years in age. Both are upbeat and excited to be teaching. They are the newest members to the team, although they still have worked there for 3 years.

Flat Racing- Martin Riggs, a 36 year old man who many say is completely crazy. He has a wild temperant, but he is an amazing racer and trains the best.

Roping- Quinn Nile, a stern yet humorous woman of 29 years with plenty of experience in the cattle departement.

Horsemanship- Roger Davis, a 41 year old level-headed man that is quite calm and collected and doesn't talk much.

Liberty- Larry Cable, the youngest member of the team at 23 with an amazing sense of humor and a wide smile that lights up the room.

With a wide, sprawling grounds, beautiful barns, and just being a great place in general, the Corazon Roto Academy is special in every way.

When you first drive in the long gravel road there are two long, 40 stall barns in front of you. Inside, 20 stalls on each side with 4 washing stalls in the middle, two wide barn doors on both ends and two in the middle, and water spigots throughout the whole barn. Everything is freshly painted red with the white trim to give it the old style barn feeling.

Just to the right of the barns is a wide open gravel lots with enough room to turn a horse trailer around in, and parking spaces beyond that.

To the right of the parking lot starts the three arenas. The first is clear and used for Dressage, Liberty, and Horsemanship.

To the right of the first arena is a second filled with jumps. This is the Show Jumping arena.

The third arena, to the right of the second, has barrels, chutes, and pens. This is used for Barrel Racing and Roping.

To the left, behind the barns, is a 5 mile long state of the art Cross Country track. Behind the arenas is the mile long looping race track.

To the left, first a sandy round pen, then 40 acres of pastures stretching out into the fields, each divided into 10 acre lots. All have nets over them.

Even farther left there are 10 cabins, in two rows of 5, the dorms for the year. Boys on the left and girls in the right, two in each cabin.

At three access points are different starts to trail- behind the pastures, behind the cabin, and to the far right. Here stretches 100 acres of trails, accessible for all to ride on.
