| @Dusty, I appreciate that. The vet said we could try the antibiotics again, but I reached the point where I was asking why is it going to be different this 6th time around? |

| It's never an easy decision, but im sure he would have been grateful for you choosing to give him a year full of love and comfort rather than 10 years of increasingly worse problems |

| @Dusty, he was diagnosed with gallstones in January and ever since that struggled with nausea, vomiting, and lack of appetite. We tried antibiotics, prescription food, and daily meds, but it didn't seem to make him feel better. He would be ok for a couple weeks and then be sick for a week, get better for a couple weeks and then get sick. |

| I had the same experience while researching which is what led me to do that. Private insurance of all kinds is a total scam in my opinion, they only care about profits and will never have your best interests at heart |

| It is Bird, instead of doing insurance I have opted to have a pets savings account that I deduct a little for each paycheck. So I have a fund if god forbid I ever need it and I don't have to line the pockets of the sleezy insurance people |
