| Yeah, my cat is officially stuck indoors until it gets cooler out. He's usually good about coming when called when he's outside, but because of the heat he's been shoving himself under my truck in the shade and panting and refusing to get close enough for me to grab because he's too hot so. | I haven't done outdoor time for my parrots at all this month. I just open the window next to their cage to let them sunbathe. Seems safer with the 90-100 degree weather |

| oh god puck. That's terrifying, i dont blame you. I made my trainer reschedule tuesdays lesson because i thought i was gonna die teaching a walk trot lesson, so we did it yesterday when it was like 10 degrees cooler, and i still thought i was gonna pass out. And my horse was like the hottest ive ever felt him, without doing that much. |

| I felt so bad cancelling lessons this afternoon but after the horse went down I was like "yeah nope we're done". And he was standing in a stall with three fans on him when it happened, like it's beyond hot |

| Drip lines might be good too if you let the ground soak then then the lines could keep it moist during none sprinkler times thats what my grandparents did in the orchard |

| Puck, For sure. I ended up bringing my bell pepper plants inside this year because it was *cooking* the peppers. Like I'd find them on the ground all mushy. |

| they get cut pretty frequently but they grow back so quick, with all this rain |

| I dont have a lawn lol, but the pastures at my barn have been THRIVING |

| The only sprinkler I have is a motion-activated one to chase the raccoons off of my bird feeder. And... Also apparently for the birds to cool off in, they'll trigger it to play in the rain. |
