Mystery nodded with a smile "I am so glad you're here!" She said enthusiastically

She looked around "Ummm... I don't really know? Maybe go find apples for the herd?" She said happily turning to Trigger "And we can bring Athena!" She squealed shaking her tail happily

Regal took a few side steps away from Angel once Mystery spoke to her, deciding Mystery could help her stay "Hey West? Can i ask you something?" He asked standing tall with hope and pride... And a small smile

West smiled just slightly as Angel said she would stay, backing up when Mystery came near. He turned to Regal and tilted his head... the stallion looked quite pleased with himself. "Yeah? What is it?" He answered, resting a back hoof.

Dixie galloped to West when she saw him. It had been so long! "West!" She slid to a stop next to him and wondered how she would explain why she left. She had to see firefly again and Macy wouldn't leave her side. Dixie bumped him on the shoulder.

Macy nuzzled Mystery "it's ok now. I'm here. And I'm glad you love her. I'm gunna kill that stallion. Your colt shouldn't have died." Macy nuzzled her again, hoping she would be ok.

Scarlet trotted around, her white coat shimmering in the sun. -where's the colt I met before I left?- she thought as she trotted around.

West's eyes lit up as Dixie came running. "Dixie!" He exclaimed happily. "Where have you been? I've been so worried!" It was true, West had been worried, but he couldn't leave the herd. Sometimes he wished he was just IN a herd and not leading it.

Angel wandered off to a shady tree. She laid down and dozed off. She hadn't slept in ages. As angel slept she had a bad dream. She started tossing about and flicking her tail

Mystery nodded with a small smile followed by a giggle "Thanks Macy, but I think he's long gone... And besides, Willow reminds me of him" She said nuzzling her back then watching Willow play with Trigger.

Regal opened his mouth to talk when Dixie came up and spoke to West, respectfully, he waited for them to talk, then asked his question "Well West, you know how I asked to tag along in your herd until I could make my own? Well while I'm still looking for stray mares, I'd rather not STEAL them, I prefer finding herdless mares and taking them in. There aren't as many mares straying as I thought so I'll probably be here a while... And to pay you back for your kindness, I've decided I wanted a position in the herd.. But nothing like a leader, what I want to be is a guard! Y'know, to stick at the back of the herd when you're leading so that way no predators sneak up from behind, you're the leader, the mares are members. And I could be a great guard! I like to protect others anyway so I'd be pretty good! So what do you think sir?" Regal asked smiling brightly at the thought

West turned to listen to Regal while he waited for Dixie to reply. He tilted his head, looking thoughtful for a moment as he heard the other stallion out. "Sure, I think that's a good idea. We can try that." He nodded, flicking his ears. "You are now appointed guard. Have fun." West joked with a slight grin, swishing his tail and looking around to make sure everyone was ok. He was quite easy going... but he still had that underlaying instinct that said letting Regal stay in the herd was a bad idea.

Mystery overheard West and Regal talk -He's now the guard? Good on him!- She thought as she wandered over and stood next to Dixie "Awe that was kind of you to let him do that West! And congrats Regal, that sounds like a fun title, at least you won't feel like one of us mares" She said excitedly shivering her tail
