This is something I have not seen attempted before so forgive me if this fails miserably. It is possible I am the only one that experiences this, however I doubt it. Have you ever found yourself visualizing an image in your mind? A piece of art that you have cultivated and only you can view through your mind's eye? That is how I found myself today, imagining a work of art I have never laid eyes on. I was thinking, how might I share this with others? My artistic capabilities are subpar at best so I came to this attempt at conveying that which I saw.
I hope it is possible to ascribe words to something that exists only in my imagination. That said, welcome what I dub, an imaginary image. An image created only in your mind, entirely of words (I pray the viewer does not suffer from aphantasia or this will fail to inspire).
The Foresaken Reflection An imaginary image. Visualize the words written. Picture a brain. Attached to it, two eyes and a spinal cord. Hovering, waiting to engage. Illuminating its visage is a blue light. Out of a mirror it stares, hollow, lonely eyes. A man in front of the sink looks down at his phone. He is facing the mirror. Flashing in front of his eyes, lives he will not touch. Faces he will never know. Dark, no light except blue. Emanating from the carapace of destruction. It was thought that man's downfall began at the sight of his reflection. Woe the horrors that will arise from his removal of reality. Edited at February 16, 2025 11:15 PM by Vellum Elites

This is really great work; so evocative and with the underlay of soulessness that comes from our device reflections.
