We only had it shut off once and it was only a date late. I remember because it was the 6th and it had to be paid before the 5th. I remember washing dishes and bam no power |

Most utility companies have a grace period before they'll shut off power. |

Maybe I need to look into it then because this company cuts it off a day late. Maybe for more money? |
MakeEm Fancy |
Nope they do. We got cut off last year because my mom was a day late paying. It was a nightmare |
Vecchia Modo |
I don't believe that. By law, they can't shut you off for being a day late. They have to go thru due process, which is usually 30 days. |

Landlords out here dont care unfortunately and they dont go by the book. The electric company shuts you off if you are a day late and its a $75 extra fee to get it turned back on |
Vecchia Modo |
Most rentals give you 5 days grace period, as do most utility company's, etc. |

Nowhere near as devastating but one of our biggest customers had their delivery receipts system go down and some poor bastard had to replicate it on a spreadsheet. We still get TMP booking references sometimes instead of the usual ones and I really feel for whoever is having to organise all that |
MakeEm Fancy |
Yep I know it happens but its also irritating when bills need to be paid on the first. Its a good thing my landlord is my mom because any other landlord would be mad |

Anyone that has experience with computers knows, sometimes they go down. The Hospital's computers went down the other day, and people had to write things down on paper. Big hassel |

It sucks. They said they are working on it. We will see how that goes....its been all day |
