| Even though it's been years since all four of my grandparents died, I still miss them a lot |

| I am mostly trying to remember the positive like how she would play card games with me as a kid, would pick me up from school when I was sick because my Mom was working, how she did love her family even if she had a hard time showing it sometimes. |

| @Sting, that is a hard position to be in. I am honestly at peace though. Cried a bit yesterday, but am happy she is no longer in pain emotionally or physically anymore. I am also at peace that I can move forward with my life without worrying about her coming over for Sunday dinner. |

| Awh Hummer. That is hard. Also don't take on any guilt, it is not yours to carry. I feel the same with my mum. We have been estranged for years and now she has ended up in age care with nobody. I felt so guilty. Its very hard not to. But its not mine to carry. She should have been better. |

| I was able to reconcile that she was adopted into an abusive family and actually overcame a lot even if she couldn't completely shake her trauma. |

| It has been an interesting experience to be honest. Towards the end of her life I did not have a good relationship with my grandmother because she could be emotionally abusive, however, seeing her unconscious and knowing she was dying I found it in my heart to forgive her. |

| @Sky, this past week was not good. My grandma's health declined and she passed away yesterday. I am at peace now, but am emotionally exhausted. |
