My boy stands so nicely at the mounting block but once we get going he doesn't like to plant his feet. Slowly been building up the time that we stand between exercises.
Honestly it's really good for them to just get on and let them sit for a minute or two instead of immediately walking off to work. Puts them in a better frame of mind for the rest of the ride

I am learning to ride on an Arab, sheÂ’s half Arab and half QH. But she mostly takes after the Arab side. Mounting is the most difficult thing ever, she may be small but once youÂ’re lifting yourself onto her, she turns and bolts. Need to work on that

If you have Dapple Blend Grain, you can feed it to your horse and their coat will dapple.
The effect will wear off after a few days. One pound of grain will be fed at a time.
