I’m from the Riverina New South in aus, i travel rarely often to city’s ect, definitely recommend going to china town in Melbourne, and the “dick” donut place - had a blast last time I went, if you can time it when the events are on you’ll have a ball,
Honestly the best time would be around 7pm our aest.
If you can get over to Australia I suggest visiting the flinders rangers, itÂ’s beautiful. Our rodeo seasons slowly coming to an end in the southern side but the rodeo scene here is amazing and is 10/10 recommend going.
You’ve just missed out on a massive 4 day event in Adelaide (was in April) but it’s a ball… AEF is what it’s called :) Mount Gambier is cold this time of year but they have blue lakes and a crater with a ”garden” ect in it and possums that are super friendly!

That's very true, I'm really hoping to come back in the summer sometime (couldn't this year due to school) and do some stuff I miss this trip. Would love to go to Queensland too
But yes I am SO excited to explore a new country, definitely very nature oriented since I'm from rural Oregon. Although am looking forward to Melbourne too since I've never been to a city anywhere close to that size

Hoping to go to a couple parks and maybe the apostles if we can find the time :) so many options there as far as nature goes, its been hard to figure out what to prioritize
We dont have any sweet tea here, and our coffee culture is very different(especially Melbourne). So if those two things are important to you, you might need to plan ahead.

I highly suggest the zoos and sealife aquarium if you love animals. The museum is also a great place to visit. eureka tower is great if you aren't scared of heights.
Saint Kilda pier, if you walk all the way to the end, past the shop, there is wild penguins you can watch.
