I know Grammarly because they have so many ads, but they don't let you do hardly anything without a subscription. I honestly feel like they were considered the 'best' because they just flooded the market with ads
This is just my personal opinion and I'm not telling anyone else how to play - I plan one, sometimes two, "big" breedings per month, per account. Those are the ones I match carefully and save up money for, and I like to use studs in the top five of their breed's LB rankings.
Keeping and using almost exclusively in-house studs that were mediocre at best on the LBs made my stock weak for a looong time. I was just excited to have my own stallions and would have three or four of them at any given time, to like 15 mares.
If you have Dapple Blend Grain, you can feed it to your horse and their coat will dapple.
The effect will wear off after a few days. One pound of grain will be fed at a time.
If you feed Senior Blend to your senior horse they will have a 10% decreased chance in dying
when the weekly script runs on Monday morning. The effect lasts for one weekly cycle.

Set Breeding Requirements for your horse. Enter the minimum rating allowable for breeding. When breeding, Any combo of the entered values and higher will be accepted. Leave blank to set to None.
Edit your horse's remarks. Keep all content PG-13.
Choose a Background for your horse.
Withdraw your horse from it's team. You will lose all team points for this horse. Please discuss this action with the team manager first.
Your horse may show 3 times per week. Shows run daily. Your horse and rider will gain valuable experience from showing. Select a discipline to show in, or scratch from tonight's show.
