Urgh that sucks :( my old paint mare had issues with processing sugar and couldn't be kept on grass, when she had flare-ups from feed changes I always felt so bad
It's either get her feet sorted or potentially have her pts. Her last episode saw her having a severe abscess and being lame on practically all four feet
Keeping horses and sheep in the same paddock is not as easy to do as it appears apparently. Stock fencing is very good price-wise but horses can remove their feet with it, but then if I do post and rail I'll be chasing my sheep round the village every hour. And horse mesh was the option I got quoted for so unless theres a much cheaper version of it that won't snap immediately I'm back to square one... Its looking like stock fencing and then running an electric fence down the inside in the section the horses are in at the time.
If you have Dapple Blend Grain, you can feed it to your horse and their coat will dapple.
The effect will wear off after a few days. One pound of grain will be fed at a time.
