Holly I've heard that litter brothers usually stay friends, but adult guinea pig bonding is difficult. It definitely doesn't help that Phoebe's there, cause all the boys want her (she's got a cute butt lol) Hopefully once Phoebe moves cages they'll be all good again.
Cheese I know what you mean... I had two boys at one stage and oh my goodness did they fight.. in the end they were forced to live in seperate cages in case they decided to kill eachother (they were full brothers by the way) Good idea to keep the boys you got now. Don't wanna cause World War 3 to break out.
Holly Fingers crossed ;) The ideal would be a litter of 2 girls. I would love to keep more boys as well but three boys is already a fragile bond, any more added will be chaos. Let's say Derek has already had a few scuffles with the other boys.
Ru Fair point. I like to say every dog deserves a second chance, but sometimes it's too much of a risk. I do know that's it's never really the dogs fault though, it's always on bad oart of the owner, breeder, or trainer etc. even just certain situations or triggers can make them act badly. They never voluntarily attack people, it's very different from humans.
Holly Oh gosh lol Lucky our girl was already pregnant from Derek before Harvey and Blze were old enough, and they can't double impregnate her so they can't breed with her until she gives birth again, which she'll be in a new cage by that time anyways. We're hoping for girls this time, and most likely selling nay girls. If we don't get girls we'll probably buy some and breed again in the future.
Cheese Awwww such cuties!!!! Ella (the mother) she had 2 girls and 1 boy and at 30 days he lets just say.. became mature and thought his mumma was a different female 0.0 I ended up having to seperate the male as it got too risky. Crazy little dude xD. Your gonna have so much fun with the new babies, there such a fun handful to look after!

Showing in the special weekly shows doesn't count against your horse's weekly regular show count.
