I just wish blocking stables didnt prevent them from being able to use the straw. I wish it meant they could still use it since they bought it, but cannot buy any more.
I only do it with the LB boys though. And honestly Ive not had an issue with hoarding minus one case where someone was using side accounts to bulk buy straws to bypass me having blocked their main. But they gone now so lol
I always view selling anything like it's out of my hands and I no longer have any control over what happens to it. I can place my stuff with the buyer but don't have the time or energy to police it after that point
it's enforced anymore via a block. Had one person block me within 24 hours because I didn't FR a PPP foal same day. Which was actually kinda irksome because I had real life shit come up on that RO
My way I do it is I hate beating around the bush. I dont apply rules retroactively. I apply rules when I make the thread. Anyone who breaks the rule (aka hoarding the straws in this case) I block em 🤷♀️ And its a warning Ive made in the thread as well so people are well aware. The only exception is their last year, obviously people can hoard those because theyre the last straws available. I started doing it because of people hoarding Eo straws for his color.
Well, their stud, their rules xD I mean, same way there's the option to set a minimum rating. I don't think keeping some control over straws on popular studs so everyone gets a chance, is not something bad.
I can agree with that to some extent. Like yeah, you bought it but you accepted some rules at the same time. I am also one that applies counter measures, like not selling more straws to that stable and such.

Edit your horse's remarks. Keep all content PG-13.
Choose a Background for your horse.
Withdraw your horse from it's team. You will lose all team points for this horse. Please discuss this action with the team manager first.
Your horse may show 3 times per week. Shows run daily. Your horse and rider will gain valuable experience from showing. Select a discipline to show in, or scratch from tonight's show.
Showing in the special weekly shows doesn't count against your horse's weekly regular show count.
