Yes, it says obtain a mare and a stallion. It doesn't even matter if you bred the stallion and mare yourself. They don't need to be bought, but both need to be owned by you
If you have Dapple Blend Grain, you can feed it to your horse and their coat will dapple.
The effect will wear off after a few days. One pound of grain will be fed at a time.
If you feed Senior Blend to your senior horse they will have a 10% decreased chance in dying
when the weekly script runs on Monday morning. The effect lasts for one weekly cycle.
