Yep! That's a capture pass. If it's a color capture pass, it captures a horse with that color. If it's a free capture pass, you get to capture for free. There are also things like patterned horse, dapple, and non-roan :)
High Definition Barns and show herd are more important than breeding. Thankfully you can do both at the same time, mares are suitable for earning money and they give you geldings.
I'm thinking of starting over. I feel like I'm not getting anywhere. Should I just do showing for a while until I can afford another barn and a good match?
If you have Dapple Blend Grain, you can feed it to your horse and their coat will dapple.
The effect will wear off after a few days. One pound of grain will be fed at a time.
If you feed Senior Blend to your senior horse they will have a 10% decreased chance in dying
when the weekly script runs on Monday morning. The effect lasts for one weekly cycle.

Set Breeding Requirements for your horse. Enter the minimum rating allowable for breeding. When breeding, Any combo of the entered values and higher will be accepted. Leave blank to set to None.
Edit your horse's remarks. Keep all content PG-13.
Choose a Background for your horse.
Withdraw your horse from it's team. You will lose all team points for this horse. Please discuss this action with the team manager first.
Your horse may show 3 times per week. Shows run daily. Your horse and rider will gain valuable experience from showing. Select a discipline to show in, or scratch from tonight's show.
Showing in the special weekly shows doesn't count against your horse's weekly regular show count.
