| Also, I keep mine in a roundpen so anytime I handle him it's easier to turn it into a training session if need be. Everytime he turns his butt to me I chase him off and turn it into work. The butt is NOT allowed to face me. He can escape if he's uncomfortable, he can go sideways or backwards, but the hindquarters swjnging towards me is not an option. He is very good now at turning and facing me head on when he's uncertain, which keeps us both safer. You can't work and deferalize them if they're unsafe |

| Lol slow and gentle, but confident. You don't want him to get used to being handled slowwwllyyyy, because then you trip or something and he gets reactive. The more you do the less reactive he'll get, basically. Without being overwhelming |

| Yay Puck! Do you have any tips for first handling ferals? I've got one coming start of May and I'll take all the advice I can get lol. Plan is to just go slowly and gently and pray for the best xD |
