I fed pure balance before I switched to raw. Based on research I did it seemed to have the best ingredients. I feed my cats blue buffalo wild. That is only because my cat is so picky it is the only food he will eat lol and he is prone to UTIs
Dream I used to feed Purina. My dogs were okay with it and even though its not awesome, I dont hate it. Purina Pro Plan is the best of all the Purina food though and some dogs absolutely thrive on it. Not one food fits all dogs xD
Angels Exactly!! My friend likes to say that vets push/recommend those foods because they get money for treating the resulting problems. I have no proof otherwise sadly. That being said...the cheap foods aren't really good either. It tends to be the ones in between. Sometimes lol companies just get money hungry
Yeah I have heard a lot of the high end brands are not as good as people think. I also know must vets and nutritionists don't recommend raw only for the reason that most people don't do it properly and miss a lot of major things needed in the diet. That is why I did a ton of research and I put so many things in his food.
When I was a groomer i got to see first hand what happened when people would switch either on or off any type of Hills. Hotspots, yeast infections and sores galore.
Angels lol yeah because Hills isn't actually good. She loves feeding raw but also knows a shit ton of other foods for people who can't. Like me. that also don't gouge your pockets. She's amazing.
For the price I got him, he definitely would've ended up with a kill buyer if I didn't message the page literally 2 minutes after they posted. He was mine 10 minutes after his ad was posted. If you have Dapple Blend Grain, you can feed it to your horse and their coat will dapple.
The effect will wear off after a few days. One pound of grain will be fed at a time.
If you feed Senior Blend to your senior horse they will have a 10% decreased chance in dying
