For the skill ones I usually yeet those with 890 skill before paying/training them since they have the annoying habit of retiring a day after I pay them.
They retire at 65 by age, so I usually got through my riders at the end of each month and fire the 64 year olds because unlike the ones that retire by skill those old ones just straight up abandon your horses and dip (and if you have as many barns as I have it is a pain in the butt to go through all of them till you find which horses are missing riders)

Choose a Background for your horse.
Withdraw your horse from it's team. You will lose all team points for this horse. Please discuss this action with the team manager first.
Your horse may show 3 times per week. Shows run daily. Your horse and rider will gain valuable experience from showing. Select a discipline to show in, or scratch from tonight's show.
Showing in the special weekly shows doesn't count against your horse's weekly regular show count.
