I want a corgi, except I know jack shit about them and want a dog that can run with me. Not sure that one would work. |

Depends on the state. Basically no licenses are required in mine for breeding animals |

Void All dogs definitely need training and it’s an owner’s responsibility to ensure that their dog is trained. Sadly, I have had and seen a number of service dog prospects ruined by owners who haven’t trained or socialized their dogs. |

@willow O.o And then we moved and the one neighbor and a hppay fat Dachshund and was quite lazy. LMAO Old lady feed it homemade meatloaf and her husband got TV dinners... >.> |

Void I can't speak for others so I'm not positive, but I think their point is mainly to show that any dog with sub-par training can be dangerous. |

Licenses are required to breed just about any other animal, except dogs and cats, and look at the absolute mess we have with them as such... I, too, wish the requirements extended to any species, not just exotics |

We had issues with homeowners insurance when we had our Akita, even though she had been through rigorous obedience and socialization as a puppy and never committed a single crime in her entire perfect life |

Gem A Dachshund bit my dad on the neck when he was a kid. My dad was just sitting on a curb |

Lux The pittie I had with an ex also smiled lol. He did it when he did something bad, like eating someone's food or ripping up shoes or papers hahaha |

Always feels weird when people will run to defend pits, claiming that all the bad press is bad owners, but will run to demonize other breeds who typically have little to no training 🤔 |

Pitts were bred for blood sport lol we aren't ruining them, they were ruined from the beginning. What's ruining them is people who get them for athletic, don't train them, and let them run loose because they would "never bite". Dog breeding should require a license. |

As a young child, I was almost mauled by a neighbors Dachshund. Bugling eyes and all! Luckily our cat was next to the open door and ran over and smacked that little witch away from me. Dog barely bit my shoe and pants in the moment between. *sigh* |

Sav One of ours “smiles” when he’s excited and I definitely get that it can look scary to those who aren’t around him often |

I need to stop treating this game like its life or death around RO, its just a game and theres no real consequences if I loose money or if a foal isn't how I want it, gotta catch myself sometimes lol |
Willowwood Stable |
They can definitely come across as threatening, especially because of their reputation. No one can truly know a dog's nature if they haven't spent time with that particular dog. |
