I breed my own rats. It is an unfortunate part of life, but a snake has to eat too. I know plenty of keepers who cannot feed live, and that's is absolutely ok. That is why people who can breed them. Breeding is fun, but it is dirty work. Not always a fun time. I plan on breeding my boas in a year or two. They can make some awesome babies, that is why I started breeding the rats. Takes away one cost with owning them.
@Ally, I have seen snakes fed live before and it didn't bother me, but actually handling the rat and then feeding it might upset me. Heck, I even released the mice my cat caught that were still alive.

(Obviously I fed the ones that would attempt to starve themselves live. Just would market them as live feeders only) That must be a record size for a German Shep mix haha
Get one that is already established on frozen thawed. If you get a baby, question the breeder how they feed. It is kind of a fad right now for breeders to feed both. When I bred, their first meal or two was live, then I offered frozen. The ones that took it great, but the ones that did not I attempted to switch. Some did, some would loose weight and starve than eat frozen. But like, I have been shopping for myself, and people are like "Yeah I feed them both and they eat both" like what do you mean Linda 😅

The effect will wear off after a few days. One pound of grain will be fed at a time.
If you feed Senior Blend to your senior horse they will have a 10% decreased chance in dying
when the weekly script runs on Monday morning. The effect lasts for one weekly cycle.

Edit your horse's remarks. Keep all content PG-13.
Choose a Background for your horse.
Withdraw your horse from it's team. You will lose all team points for this horse. Please discuss this action with the team manager first.
Your horse may show 3 times per week. Shows run daily. Your horse and rider will gain valuable experience from showing. Select a discipline to show in, or scratch from tonight's show.
Showing in the special weekly shows doesn't count against your horse's weekly regular show count.
