Solar Agreed. |
Silver Melody Acres |
I've seen aggressive goldens, so it really all comes down to individual dogs, the owners and their situation. a border collie could be a perfect dog for an active family |
Shivering Sea |
If you stay at home all day, get a cat, don't get a border collie xD |
Pegasus Lane |
I'm in complete agreement with Lo. I can't stand any kind of Collie but if someone has the means to take care of one why stop or bash on them? |
Willowwood Stable |
North Definitely. I'm speaking in the sense that this family has the means to provide that environment for the dog. |
Shivering Sea |
And the owners of course, don't do shit about it. When they let him out in the garden he sprints to the other side of the backyard and barks. Good luck if any other neighbor wants to go out to their own backyard because they will get barked at. |
Willowwood Stable |
Different breeds are definitely better for different needs, but training/environment also comes heavily into play. |
Fairytale Paints |
I've always had Border Collies as family pets, but then your taking about we used to run the dog several times a day...so depends on the family |
Fading Light Estate |
Different families have different needs. Knew a family who had a great pyranese as a family dog/house dog. Everyone involved was happy as couldbe |
Murphy's Elites |
I'd say as long the needs are being met for the dog mentally and physically then that's what matters. |
Creature in Crocs |
Same sprite, my neighbors have a border collie that is so energetic, she cant even stay in their house. She will just bark for hours on end too. |
Pegasus Lane |
Pretty sure I know who you're talking about and I'm pretty sure she has a ranch with different animals the dog would also be working on.. but every family has their own needs and if she wants one for her kids, so be it lmao |
Kryptonite Dressage |
I have a ACD, I did research, He plays fetch all day, my plan for him was agility, he has hip dysplasia and was diagnosed under the age of 1 year. |
Shivering Sea |
I can only agree with you, Sprite. My neighbors have a border collie because it looks cool. That dog goes out 3 times a day on walks of 15 minutes. Needless to say that dog is nuts. Barks are barely anything. |
