| yeah apparently spending hours every week reading accident reports and watching videos about plane crashes is not normal :) |

| So if you write in JavaScript or Ruby or Python or BASIC or whatever, someone somewhere coded a "virtual machine" that is a go-between for what you're typing and what is sent to the computer. Those are the real geeks, the people who program the programming languages. |

| Computers only speak machine language. Human computer languages are just for human convenience of being able to use common words to achieve goals. There's an underlying block of code in every language that "translates" what you type to machine language so the computer can understand. |

| Min, i did an internship where we worked with transistors. long story short, if an electric current goes in a certain way it send out a signal in binary 1 or 0. thats how it sends out different signals and does things |
