Computers only speak machine language. Human computer languages are just for human convenience of being able to use common words to achieve goals. There's an underlying block of code in every language that "translates" what you type to machine language so the computer can understand.

Min, i did an internship where we worked with transistors. long story short, if an electric current goes in a certain way it send out a signal in binary 1 or 0. thats how it sends out different signals and does things

Right this is probably the stupidest question I've ever asked but I know you guys are kind and I've been wondering for actual years now but how do you initially teach the computers how to be coded? Like when do they go from a lump of metal to being able to type things onto a screen and it actually do something? Baffles me xD

We just couldn't figure out where we screwed it up. Had to read every freaking code line & still didn't find it

I basically gave up any kind of coding after we re-did it hahaha

Oh Min I was just grateful there were two of us putting it together. Actually didn't take quite as long second time around lol

I sometimes wonder if people ever accidentally fuck up their own web games so much they have to bin the whole thing off. Like is that a thing that feasibly happens? Or is it if you're at the point of coding your own game you can fix pretty much whatever happens?
