| that can be an issue caused by shaving a double coated breed, actually. damage to the undercoat or even the top coat, more prone to matting and worse matting, or even the coat not coming back properly but like Kuewi said, all animals are individuals |

| all animals are totally individual. So while one (...cat, dog, horse..) is totally fine with clipping, the next one would get problems from it. Unfortunately you can never tell before. Same applies for not getting clipped at hot temperatures |
