| Echo, If you mean for cats, it's physically impossible for a male cat to be calico because the genes are carried on the X chromosome, so a cat would need to be XX to display both black and orange coloring |

| Echo They are extremely rare because in most cases their coat pattern requires two X Chromosomes which females have since males only have an X and a Y Chromosomes... but it can happen lol |
