Gladius, For real though! Realistically any breed can become that unhealthy (french bulldogs sadly are reaching it too), but there are some that have reached it visually more than others lol Yeah no, though. I wish more people worked on health rather than "beauty"
Gaelic Gladiacres
Ash - I know it's most prevalent in WB but doesn't it also appear in other breeds? and specifically is it something to do with how the foal develops in utero? I'm not sure, genuinely curious

I wasn't trying to be snippy. And I ment to keep him for shows. Not selling or freeing him
Gaelic Gladiacres
echo - the point isn't it was the wrong link it was that you're asking for keep/sell advice which as Min said goes in sales chat. you don't have to be snippy about it

I have heard of WFFS but never looked into it. What specifically does it do?
Gaelic Gladiacres
versa - I was literally saying to my dad the other day that the Arabians with those noses are the pugs of the horse world xD and yeah healthy conformation is hugely important no matter the breed. someone could just as easily say they have QHs because of the way the "popular" breeding is going right now with those muscle-bound haunches but that doesn't mean the breed itself isn't handy and versatile for the job it was originally bred to do
Ashcroft Park Stud
To be fair, plenty of breeds have terrible health issues e.g. hoof wall separation disease in Connies and WFFS in wbs
Minerva
He's up for sale so you really are, but even without that the rules are for keep/sell questions (including keep/FR) to be in sales
Heartbeat Haven
As someone whose main account is Arabian based... One can guess I love Arabians lol. But I am not afraid to admit that I like *healthy* Arabians, none of the extreme-dish, looks horribly unnatural type stuff. I view it similarly to pugs or french bulldogs. There comes a point it seems cruel
