| I do know a friend whose neighbor has a healthy and thriving FLV positive kitty, although I don't know very much about it. if you have the means and motivation to try to treat nothing says you can't try as long as she's not suffering, and to have a determined point at which if she goes downhill, you end her suffering sooner than later. but that's an individual choice and we don't know your kitty and your circumstances |

| I've already bawled my eyes out. My little kitten just tested positive for FLV. We decided to let her pass at home. Since bringing her home shes been interested in food though and the vet was shocked that shes still so active for how bad her symptoms are so I have a tiny bit of hope. Shes on day 3. Anyone have any experience with it? All I know is what the vets told me and what I've read online so I know its highly contagious and a high mortality rate but I dont really know what I can do at home till she passes or maybe to help her fight since she seems to be trying. |
