| Ooh, thats actually really cool, Gabs! I didn't know that! Mine might be weird though, I have definitely ended up with little chewed carrot pieces and such in my nose before. That might be on me though lol |

| Not entirely, that is the purpose of our epiglottis, Raven. When we swallow it folds down to protect your wind pipe (larynx) from food particles that are moving from your mouth to esophagus. Essentially to protect your lungs from food and liquids. |

| It could be worse though. Squids and octupuses have this fabulous system where their brains are donut shaped and the esophagus goes right through it... better chew well lol |
