I can't function at all without my glasses and I had issues in school with kids thinking it was fun to take them from me lmao. Not sure if that's a normal experience for kids with glasses but it was for me
Cool Dimmed! My glasses are thick and annoying and yeah my own optician says that getting putting them in frames is a pain in the ass haha
My last glasses had FiSH EYE effect Never got used to it I a centrally stepped on them
Okay i have issues with learning to look where i walk i always look everywhere else But it kind of proves how blind i am right becuase they were bright pink lenses haha
@Dimmed, thankfully they have the ability to create thinner lens from high prescriptions! The place I went to messed up my glasses last time and didn't thin out the lenses and those things were thick! Thankfully they fixed them.
@Uknown, well I don't qualify for legal blindness either because I wear glasses, but people don't understand just how much I rely on them. XD My prescription is at about -9 so I am in the same boat about.
As a licensed optician, -10 lenses amaze me 😂 and they are such a pain to put in frames. The highest IÂ’ve seen is -17 RX, but they didnÂ’t order from our office sadly. I was excited for those lol
Here unfortunately I don't qualify for legal blindness because I have glasses that correct my vision, which is stupid because I would be legally blind without them (-3.5 I believe is legal blindness here, I'm -10.5 without my glasses)
Oh, my mom usually demands me to get the earliest or latest appointment time, its easier since Im disabled and doing this stuff on my own. This appointment was the last one of the day I think. I was also going to say advance in tech making things faster. But yeah its kinda frustrating and anxious at times.
