Although, the icon does defeat the purpose of it requiring less clicks (click horse name, click arrow to move to next horse VS click icon, click "X" to close popup) but as long as I don't need to go to each horse's page it should make it faster
It's been over two years now since I have competed in it. I somewhat have a horse for it and I have the tack. I just don't have the means to keep a horse in competition shape if that makes sense
The provincal barrel finals are on right now and it's making me miss barrel racing so much. I'm thinking of getting some lessons over the winter and getting back at it
Man I miss riding barrels. I used a reining horse though so he wasn't a pro nor did I ever compete. It was just a fun drill. I love tight high speed turns
Whereas there was an incident with my previous trainer where I did an emergency stop because my horse crow-hopped and she yelled at me for not staying against the wall. =/
Practicing yields under saddle has helped me a lot. I had a trainer who told me anytime I felt anxious to do a yield and it helped me and the lesson horse I was on so much get in tune with each other.
The best exercise I did for being afraid to canter was trotting a barrel pattern on a horse who did barrels competitively with my instructor and tried to canter the final stretch. Gently asking him to slow back to a trot and seeing and feeling him respond to me and slow down made actually cantering much easier because I knew my horse would respond to me
I've definitely improved having moved to a barn with a better instructor, my last one... Frankly she was really bad for me. Gentle work and having my habits (specifically leaning forward while riding) explained to me with how it pertained to my accident helped me a LOT. My habits are barely there and I was able to canter last time I rode a few times without having a panic attack so working on doing what caused my anxiety while also taking it slowly helped me a lot
@Ven, I agree to a certain extent. It just has to be within your limits. I got to the point where I was too scared to ride my horse at all which wasn't good.
If you have Dapple Blend Grain, you can feed it to your horse and their coat will dapple.
The effect will wear off after a few days. One pound of grain will be fed at a time.
If you feed Senior Blend to your senior horse they will have a 10% decreased chance in dying
when the weekly script runs on Monday morning. The effect lasts for one weekly cycle.

Withdraw your horse from it's team. You will lose all team points for this horse. Please discuss this action with the team manager first.
Your horse may show 3 times per week. Shows run daily. Your horse and rider will gain valuable experience from showing. Select a discipline to show in, or scratch from tonight's show.
